The Prayerful Harp

July 22nd to 28th, 2013

Experience the magic of playing this ancient instrument. Gently learn the healing modalities of the harp for self or others, enjoy playing soulful Celtic melodies and access your creativity. Our process of learning is a garden of delight. Whether you wish to achieve relaxation through your music or would enjoy playing with a group, you will be introduced to basic techniques and simple ways that you can create instant beauty on the harp. No music experience necessary.  This class is appropriate for those totally new to harp as well as those who have played awhile, are still playing at beginner level and want an intensive week of study.

Note: some rental harps available by early reservation. For more information visit: www.santafeharp.com.

From 2012 The Prayerful Harp week at Ghost Ranch:

“Didn’t we have a great time.  If you are teaching again next year I plan on coming back.  Also going to John Philip Newell’s morning services was beautiful and your playing was beautiful.” D.B.
